Actor Stephen Baldwin has left fans wondering about the well-being of Justin and Hailey Bieber after sharing a prayer request for the couple on social media.

Baldwin, known for "The Usual Suspects" and "Posse," reshared a video on his Instagram story asking people to pray for his daughter Hailey and son-in-law Justin. The clip was created by Victor Marx, founder of All Things Possible Ministry.

"Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them," the video says, "to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord." Marx also states, "There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face." Footage of Justin playing guitar and singing the gospel song "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" plays in the background.

The post has fueled speculation online, since Baldwin did not say what the prayers are meant to address. His representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily News.

Justin Bieber has stayed out of the spotlight for much of the past year after disclosing that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. He described the condition as being caused by a "virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis."

At the time, he told followers on Instagram Stories that the illness forced him to miss the rest of the North American leg of his Justice Tour. "I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now," he wrote, adding that he would pause touring. "I'm going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better." He also thanked fans for their prayers and support.

Some fans had hoped Bieber would return to the stage alongside his mentor Usher at the Super Bowl. Speaking on The Breakfast Club on Feb. 16, Usher offered an explanation for why that did not happen. "I think that it might've been the fact that he's just wanting to tell a different story right now," he said, "and I understand that." Usher added that the two would "do something else in the future. No love lost or anything like that."

Hailey Bieber has dealt with her own medical scare. In March 2022, she revealed on Instagram that she had suffered blood clots in her brain. "Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I've ever been through, I'm home now and doing well," she wrote, thanking the doctors and nurses who treated her and everyone who sent well wishes.
